Decision Formula Drift has confirmed it repaved sections of Indianapolis Raceway Park specifically to improve the entertainment value of a sport whose entire premise is cars intentionally out of control. The Stewards note that a series built on drivers deliberately losing traction has now started re-engineering racetracks purely for spectacle, and gently ask what, precisely, was considered insufficiently entertaining about the previous asphalt.
