Fact Red Bull confirms the hiring of Mercedes' junior talent scout, the same person credited with discovering championship leader Kimi Antonelli

Decision The Stewards note that talent scouts do not typically make headlines, and yet here we are. Mercedes is formally invited to reflect on the fact that discovering a future title contender and then losing the person who discovered him to a direct rival is, at best, an unconventional definition of "well managed." Red Bull has declined to comment beyond confirming the hire, which the Stewards interpret as a team that is extremely pleased with itself and doing an admirable job of pretending otherwise.
